Happy Turkey Day!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We hope you are enjoying your holiday with all of your loved ones. It is such a wonderful thing to be able to spend a day with friends and family. I had a lot of help yesterday from Vanessa and Annette in preparing my Thanksgiving feast for my family today. It was lots of fun we made Turkey pops and I even tried some new recipes that I got from a cooking class I did a few weeks back. I am excited to have my family over today to enjoy some good food and company. Plus Georgie gets to spend some time with her cousins too.

To start our day off right Billy my mom and I jogged our first 10K this morning. It was so cold out about 45 degrees when we left but we quickly warmed up when we started the race. I am so proud of all of us and can't believe that just a few short months ago we were all 25 lbs over weight and probably couldn't have even walked the race let alone jog it. Hopefully this becomes a yearly tradition for us and even Georgie can participate in years to come. Such a great way to start off your Turkey Day. Have a great Thanksgiving!!

This picture is what our pops came out like but I forgot to grab a picture of our own. They are so much fun to make. You can get the recipe on bakerella.com

Tutu Cute!!

I just love making tutu's. It is so much fun to create and watch little girls giggle and twirl in them. I just started making them on the website etsy. If you are as hooked on etsy as I am then you know that you can find just about anything adorable and handmade with love. I haven't put up my postings of my collection of tutu's yet but I have a whole line of cute ones including the princess collection that my partner in crime Vanessa came up with. When you go on etsy look up my shop Ooh la la tutu. You can see what I have been busy doing the past months. Georgie just loves running around in them and wearing them to dance class when she takes it. Life is so much fun having a little one to watch and enjoy. Wouldn't you agree? :)
