Video Message from Santa Clause

How cute is this.  I saw it on my friends Face Book page about how you can have Santa send a special video to your kids for Christmas.  I am not sure if this will be around next year but you can try it out for sure.  Here is our Santa Video Letter so you can see just how cute this is.  They even do more detailed videos for older kids that are cute.  Just click here to visit the website to make your own video.

Santa Clause 2010

Georgia has been a good little girl this year. We went and sat on good old Santa's lap and she was excited and a little apprehensive about the whole experience. None the less we were lucky to have no tears this year so far we have not had a year where she has cried yet. This year Georgie received a personal message from Santa. She was so excited to see it on the computer and has asked me to watch it several times. It will be pretty exciting come Christmas morning to see her surprised little sweet face when she realizes that Santa came and brought her what she asked for. Merry Christmas my little darling. I love you so much and feel so lucky to be your mommy.
Here is the email link to her personal Santa video.

Hanukah Performance

Georgie had her first school holiday performance. Billy, Grandma, Papa and I were there front in center to see her perform on stage. She currently is attending preschool 2 times a week at our local Jewish Community Center, And NO we have not suddenly become Jewish we just love the preschool program so much there and she just loves her class and teachers. After her performance we went back to her class and they got to decorate cookies and show us all of there exciting projects they had been working on. Thought we would share a quick video clip of her strumming her gutiar on stage. She is the one in the blue shirt up front.

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We hope you are enjoying your holiday with all of your loved ones. It is such a wonderful thing to be able to spend a day with friends and family. I had a lot of help yesterday from Vanessa and Annette in preparing my Thanksgiving feast for my family today. It was lots of fun we made Turkey pops and I even tried some new recipes that I got from a cooking class I did a few weeks back. I am excited to have my family over today to enjoy some good food and company. Plus Georgie gets to spend some time with her cousins too.

To start our day off right Billy my mom and I jogged our first 10K this morning. It was so cold out about 45 degrees when we left but we quickly warmed up when we started the race. I am so proud of all of us and can't believe that just a few short months ago we were all 25 lbs over weight and probably couldn't have even walked the race let alone jog it. Hopefully this becomes a yearly tradition for us and even Georgie can participate in years to come. Such a great way to start off your Turkey Day. Have a great Thanksgiving!!

This picture is what our pops came out like but I forgot to grab a picture of our own. They are so much fun to make. You can get the recipe on bakerella.com

Tutu Cute!!

I just love making tutu's. It is so much fun to create and watch little girls giggle and twirl in them. I just started making them on the website etsy. If you are as hooked on etsy as I am then you know that you can find just about anything adorable and handmade with love. I haven't put up my postings of my collection of tutu's yet but I have a whole line of cute ones including the princess collection that my partner in crime Vanessa came up with. When you go on etsy look up my shop Ooh la la tutu. You can see what I have been busy doing the past months. Georgie just loves running around in them and wearing them to dance class when she takes it. Life is so much fun having a little one to watch and enjoy. Wouldn't you agree? :)

Mickey Mouse Trick or Treat Party

Happy Halloween Pirate Georgie!!!
We had so much fun doing the Mickey Mouse Trick or Treat party tonight. Grandma, Charlee, Auntie Alex, Vanessa, Carter and Mommy all took Georgie to Disneyland to celebrate Halloween. What a great display of holiday fun. The place was completely decked out in Disney spooktacular fun. I couldn't believe how many people came dressed up and how impressive these costumes were. Georgie of course was a pirate and loved every minute of it. Her daddy bought her an eye patch and sword to go with the costume that Grandma bought her (she wore her eye patch all night and wouldn't part with it). If you haven't guessed it she is obsessed with the ride Pirate's of the Caribbean.
We will be coming back next year for sure to enjoy the festivities. Well worth the extra bucks to get in to this private event. Lots & lots of candy they give you, so much in fact that we did not even need to buy our own candy to hand out this year.
Georgie, mommy had so much fun with you tonight. I loved watching you run around and sing the pirate song Yo Ho. You are such a sweet little girl full of giggles and grins and are a pure joy to be with. Happy 3rd Halloween honey girl.

Oclate Nilk

Oclate Nilk(aka...chocolate milk) is Georgie's newest addition to her daily requests. Last week Georgie was quite sick with the stomach flu and I had to withhold milk for about a week from her. She was one really unhappy camper about that and requested it daily from us. When she was feeling a bit better I decided to give her a special treat to a McDonald's Happy Meal and as an extra extra special treat chocolate milk. She had never had chocolate milk before and let me tell you she instantly fell in love. Later that day as I heard her waking up from her nap I heard her asking for nilk (milk). I said to her you want milk honey and she said no mommy I want Oclate Nilk peesee (please). How could I resist that request with a big please at the end. Since then it has been a request about every few hours. I am hopeful that she will forget about it but lets face it I think I opened a can of worms. :)
